Books with Multiple POVs
I guess it is a good thing I started reading more fantasy because this week's theme is books with more than one POV. It was hard to pick five books for this week but here we go, I'm gonna share my top 5 books with you.
One of my favorite books that has more than one POV is Rebel Spring by Morgan Rhodes. This book is told in multiple POVs from Cleo to Jonas and they are all different. I think my favorite person to read from is Jonas though, because he is so lock-sick with Cleo but he denies it and it's fantastic. Morgan Rhodes was amazing in writing all these different people. It is not like some book where you think you are reading another person's POV but then you realize you are reading another. |
Next up on the POV list is Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas. Now this book is mainly told by Celaena and Dorian.Chaol but once and awhile there is a random POV thrown in there. I liked this book the most out of the three out so far because the characters have grown so much since the first book and there were so many twists and turns in this book that I never saw coming. It was greatness. Then, of course, there is the fact that you meet Rowan in this book and Rowan is just the best thing in the world! |
Now, Silver Shadows is only told between two people in first person but I couldn't leave it out because it is the best book ever! The book is all--OMFG did that just happen. The book is told between Sydrian--I mean, Sydney and Adrian--and I think I like hearing from Adrian more than Sydney, but this book is on here because Richelle Mead transitioned from only one POV to two so smoothly. |
Rise of Nine made this list because I love Six's POV mixed with John's and all of the other Lorien memebers. The Rise of Nine is told in first person by various members of the Garde (probably spelt that wrong) and the only way you can tell who is talking is the font changes. It is quite confusing but I do like that idea. This book is on the list because it is the first time you really get to see Nine and he is my favorite of all the Lorien. |
